Availability

This page describes the pinned source package. Published availability is unestablished for this artifact. Source build and package availability.

Resources and modes

Declare a resource in application code, then bind deployment-specific settings and credentials. See typed resources, connections and source inspection.

Object records

incremental: Ordered walk with deletion windows

The following example matches configuration standard.

Configuration: standard

Case: salesforce/objects/incremental/standard. Connection and resource configuration are declared by this exact case. Credential kind: salesforce. Keep credential material in the private credential inventory. Provider setup requirements:
Native admission analysis is available for this exact declaration. Collection: records
Recorded checks Hosted qualification: unestablished for this catalog configuration. Installed connections report their own identity, authority and current status.

Configuration: bulk

Case: salesforce/objects/incremental/bulk.
Installed connections report their own identity, authority and current status.

discovery: Discovery and detail reads

The following example matches configuration standard.

Configuration: standard

Case: salesforce/objects/discovery/standard. Connection and resource configuration are declared by this exact case. Credential kind: salesforce. Keep credential material in the private credential inventory.
Native admission analysis is available for this exact declaration. Collection: records
Recorded checks Hosted qualification: unestablished for this catalog configuration. Installed connections report their own identity, authority and current status.

Platform events

platform: CometD

The following example matches configuration standard.

Configuration: standard

Case: salesforce/events/platform/standard. Connection and resource configuration are declared by this exact case. Credential kind: salesforce. Keep credential material in the private credential inventory. Provider setup requirements:

pubsub: Pub/Sub API

The following example matches configuration standard.

Configuration: standard

Case: salesforce/events/pubsub/standard. Connection and resource configuration are declared by this exact case. Credential kind: salesforce. Keep credential material in the private credential inventory. Provider setup requirements:
Native admission analysis is available for this exact declaration. Collection: records

Change data capture

cdc: CometD

The following example matches configuration standard.

Configuration: standard

Case: salesforce/changes/cdc/standard.
Installed connections report their own identity, authority and current status.

pubsub: Pub/Sub API

The following example matches configuration standard.

Configuration: standard

Case: salesforce/changes/pubsub/standard. Connection and resource configuration are declared by this exact case. Credential kind: salesforce. Keep credential material in the private credential inventory. Provider setup requirements:

Provider guidance

Compiled declaration examples and configuration details are published in the connector reference. Every resource binds the same salesforce connection: the binding names the org’s My Domain (instance, rendered https://<instance>.my.salesforce.com) and salesforce.credential(name) holds only its OAuth access_token. Select fields with schema (and fields when a stored name differs from the sObject field); bijection source metadata capture salesforce generates typed selections from the org’s Describe, and the reader rechecks the selection against Describe before its first read.

Object records

objects.incremental uses the native salesforce transport. Each round opens with a getDeleted window: its ids are published as deletions, including records already purged from the recycle bin, and its latestDateCovered bounds a queryAll walk in (SystemModstamp, Id) order, 128 rows per page. IsDeleted rows are deletions; every other row is the current record, versioned by SystemModstamp. Ties on one stamp continue by Id, so mass updates cannot stall the walk. initial: "bulk" reads the first pass as one Bulk API 2.0 queryAll job (CSV typed by Describe; a CSV null and an empty text are both null), then walks strictly after the job’s bound. A delete log that no longer covers the next window, or a failed or expired bulk job, is a gap that requires a new source basis. Records are observations, not a snapshot, and absence never withdraws one. objects.discovery is the bounded discovery and detail recipe over HTTP: queryAll of Id, IsDeleted, then one detail read per key. With etags the detail ETag is the record version an If-Match write can condition on. It does not observe records purged from the recycle bin.

Events and changes

events.platform and changes.cdc read CometD with the replay extension; events.pubsub and changes.pubsub read the gRPC Pub/Sub API (api.pubsub.salesforce.com:7443, or endpoint), fetching each event’s Avro schema and requesting one page of 32 events per subscription. Both share one replay position, one event identity window and one gap rule: CometD names an event by EventUuid, Pub/Sub by the producer event’s id; a change event is entity:transactionKey:sequenceNumber; DELETE and UNDELETE are accepted change kinds and any GAP_* kind is a gap. Pub/Sub replay ids are retained only when they are eight bytes. Nothing here has run against a Salesforce org; inspect the installed source’s profile for its exact guarantees.

Provider references

Provider references and prerequisites are maintained in the connector guidance above. No separate provider-documentation review date is recorded.

Source and evidence

Canonical connector source, native analysis and check receipts. Connector artifact: 905888ea276a2a28e36981a79e8142b2547ea451c3e63162cb6915ad4a7d1305. The resource declaration examples above are compiled and compared with exact catalog declarations. Recorded checks apply only to their source, declaration and runtime identities. Configure a connection and inspect its status to establish deployment-specific readiness.
