Use the @bijection/connectors/myob-desktop entrypoint to declare MYOB AccountRight desktop (API server) resources.

Availability

This page describes the pinned source package. Published availability is unestablished for this artifact. Source build and package availability.

Resources and modes

Declare a resource in application code, then bind deployment-specific settings and credentials. See typed resources, connections and source inspection.

Sale invoices

pull: Full $skip walks in UID order over the local API, RowVersion versions, read-only

The following example matches configuration standard.

Configuration: standard

Case: myob-desktop/invoices/pull/standard. Connection and resource configuration are declared by this exact case. Credential kind: myob_desktop. Keep credential material in the private credential inventory.
Native admission analysis is available for this exact declaration. Collection: invoices
Recorded checks Hosted qualification: unestablished for this catalog configuration. Installed connections report their own identity, authority and current status.

Customers

pull: Full $skip walks in UID order over the local API, RowVersion-conditioned updates

The following example matches configuration readOnly.

Configuration: standard

Case: myob-desktop/customers/pull/standard. Connection and resource configuration are declared by this exact case. Credential kind: myob_desktop. Keep credential material in the private credential inventory.
Native admission analysis is available for this exact declaration. Collection: customers

Recorded checks Hosted qualification: unestablished for this catalog configuration. Installed connections report their own identity, authority and current status.

Configuration: readOnly

Case: myob-desktop/customers/pull/readOnly.

Provider guidance

Compiled declaration examples and configuration details are published in the connector reference. Reads a company file served by an AccountRight desktop installation’s API server (the local API), with the same invoice and customer reads as the cloud myob recipe. Setup baseUrl is the API server, http://<host>:8080/, and companyFile the file’s id under /accountright/ (the API server’s file list names it). Network route and cleartext. MYOB documents the local API only as plain HTTP on port 8080. The connection therefore requires a network relay route: its typed setup carries network: { relay: "<group>", target: "<name>" }, the base URL’s host and port equal that relay target’s, and plain http:// is admitted only on a relay route. The leg from the relay to the API server is cleartext on the customer’s network and carries the company-file user’s password (Base64 is an encoding, not encryption) and every record read; restrict port 8080 to the relay host, as MYOB’s own server notes restrict the AccountRight server to the local network. The credential (myobDesktop.credential, kind myob_desktop) is the company-file user: an api_key envelope with placement: "header", name: "x-myobapi-cftoken" and value the Base64 encoding of user:password, which the host writes on every request. Requests also send x-myobapi-version: v2; the cloud’s x-myobapi-key belongs to its OAuth flow and is not sent. Identity reads /{companyFile}/Company, which proves the file opens for that user; no account is asserted. Paging, versions, amounts, deletions and the conditional customer update are the cloud recipe’s: every pass walks the whole entity by $skip in UID order and claims no coverage, RowVersion is the opaque version, no deletion is published, and an update PUTs the complete customer with its RowVersion (409 when stale) as a single attempt. MYOB states no rate limit for the local API, so no budget is declared; 401 and 403 are refusals. Nothing here has run against an AccountRight API server or been qualified.
