Use the @bijection/connectors/freshbooks entrypoint to declare FreshBooks resources.

Availability

This page describes the pinned source package. Published availability is unestablished for this artifact. Source build and package availability.

Resources and modes

Declare a resource in application code, then bind deployment-specific settings and credentials. See typed resources, connections and source inspection.

Invoices

pull: Day-filtered carried passes, deleted listing as deletion, archived present, read-only

The following example matches configuration standard.

Configuration: standard

Case: freshbooks/invoices/pull/standard. Connection and resource configuration are declared by this exact case. Credential kind: freshbooks. Keep credential material in the private credential inventory.
Native admission analysis is available for this exact declaration. Collection: invoices
Recorded checks Hosted qualification: unestablished for this catalog configuration. Installed connections report their own identity, authority and current status.

Configuration: tuned

Case: freshbooks/invoices/pull/tuned.

Clients

pull: Day-filtered carried passes, deleted listing as deletion, archived present, read-only

The following example matches configuration standard.

Configuration: standard

Case: freshbooks/clients/pull/standard. Connection and resource configuration are declared by this exact case. Credential kind: freshbooks. Keep credential material in the private credential inventory.
Native admission analysis is available for this exact declaration. Collection: clients
Recorded checks Hosted qualification: unestablished for this catalog configuration. Installed connections report their own identity, authority and current status.

Provider guidance

Compiled declaration examples and configuration details are published in the connector reference. The connection holds a freshbooks credential (freshbooks.credential) for https://api.freshbooks.com. Setup accountId is a business’s account_id from GET /auth/api/v1/users/me and names the routes (/accounting/account/{accountId}/invoices/invoices, .../users/clients). Identity is the user id, the only single stable value FreshBooks states; identify refuses a user who is not a member of the configured account. Each pass reads two listings in updated_asc order by page (per_page up to 100, default 50): the live listing (active and archived), then the deleted one (search[vis_state]=1). The first pass reads both whole. Each finished pass carries the latest updated it read (sync.carry); the next asks for search[updated_min] two days before that day, because the filter takes a date only and updated (2021-07-05 08:22:13) names no zone. Every fullEvery-th pass (default 96) walks everything again, which bounds how long a record passed over by a shifting page offset stays unread. The version is updated, opaque. vis_state 1 is a deletion; archived (2) stays present. This assumes a deletion moves updated; if not, the next full walk sees it. Money is FreshBooks’ own decimal text ({ amount: "104.50", code: "CAD" }) beside the invoice currency; another currency is refused. Line items (include[]=lines) are not read. FreshBooks publishes no rate limit; a 429 is retried as transient. No writes: FreshBooks offers no idempotency key or precondition. No webhooks: the signature covers a JSON re-serialization of the form body, not the raw bytes. Nothing here has run against FreshBooks or been qualified.
