Use the @bijection/connectors/marklogic entrypoint to declare MarkLogic resources.

Availability

This page describes the pinned source package. Published availability is unestablished for this artifact. Source build and package availability.

Resources and modes

Declare a resource in application code, then bind deployment-specific settings and credentials. See typed resources, connections and source inspection.

Document collection

watermark: Search watermark

The following example matches configuration standard.

Configuration: standard

Case: marklogic/collection/watermark/standard. Connection and resource configuration are declared by this exact case. Credential kind: marklogic. Keep credential material in the private credential inventory.
Native admission analysis is available for this exact declaration. Collection: records
Recorded checks Hosted qualification: unestablished for this catalog configuration. Installed connections report their own identity, authority and current status.

Provider guidance

Compiled declaration examples and configuration details are published in the connector reference. Bind the REST app server origin (url) on the connection and the MarkLogic collection URI (collection) on the resource.
  • Mechanism. POST /v1/search?format=json with a combined query: the collection, and the watermark property >= since and < until, sorted ascending by it, with transform-results: raw so each result carries its JSON document as content. The property needs an xs:dateTime range index.
  • Watermark. A top-level JSON property in toISOString() UTC text, kept by writers, or a bitemporal collection’s server-set systemStart. The prop:last-modified property (maintain last modified) is not used: it lives in the properties fragment, which search results do not return.
  • Consistency. Each page is one query at one timestamp. Pages are not joined into a snapshot, so no timestamp pinning is used; the host keeps the largest watermark a page carried and re-reads that instant. until is now minus settleMs (default 5 s), the declared observation lag.
  • Version. Search results carry no ETag, so the watermark is the version.
  • Credentials. marklogic.credential(name) with Basic: the app server must accept basic or digestbasic, since HTTP Digest (MarkLogic’s default) is not a native credential. A MarkLogic Cloud access token can be presented as a bearer and is replaced manually.
  • Deletions. Not observed.
Not established: no request has reached MarkLogic; the raw-content result shape is taken from documentation, and systemStart width is unverified.

Provider references

Provider references and prerequisites are maintained in the connector guidance above. No separate provider-documentation review date is recorded.

The resource declaration examples above are compiled and compared with exact catalog declarations. Recorded checks apply only to their source, declaration and runtime identities. Configure a connection and inspect its status to establish deployment-specific readiness.
