Use the @bijection/connectors/feeds entrypoint to declare RSS and Atom feeds resources.

Availability

This page describes the pinned source package. Published availability is unestablished for this artifact. Source build and package availability.

Resources and modes

Declare a resource in application code, then bind deployment-specific settings and credentials. See typed resources, connections and source inspection.

Atom feed

entries: Atom entries with a conditional poll

The following example matches configuration standard.

Configuration: standard

Case: feeds/atom/entries/standard. Connection and resource configuration are declared by this exact case. Credential kind: feed. Keep credential material in the private credential inventory.
Native admission analysis is available for this exact declaration. Collection: entries
Recorded checks Hosted qualification: unestablished for this catalog configuration. Installed connections report their own identity, authority and current status.

RSS feed

items: RSS items with a conditional poll

The following example matches configuration lastModified.

Configuration: lastModified

Case: feeds/rss/items/lastModified.

Provider guidance

Compiled declaration examples and configuration details are published in the connector reference. The connection’s base URL is the feed. A pull listener asks it conditionally (If-None-Match/ETag by default, If-Modified-Since/Last-Modified with validator: "last-modified"); a 200 is a refresh hint, a 304 is quiet. The collection reads the document through the host’s xml codec. Atom entries are keyed by atom:id with atom:updated as the version. RSS items are keyed by guid, else link, with no version. A feed is a window, so nothing is ever withdrawn and no coverage is claimed. RFC 5005 paging is not followed. More than 128 entries is refused, and so are type="xhtml" text constructs. Built from the provider’s published API documentation; nothing here has run against RSS and Atom feeds or been qualified.

Provider references

Provider references and prerequisites are maintained in the connector guidance above. No separate provider-documentation review date is recorded.

Source and evidence

The resource declaration examples above are compiled and compared with exact catalog declarations. Recorded checks apply only to their source, declaration and runtime identities. Configure a connection and inspect its status to establish deployment-specific readiness.
