# bijection placement

> Show and move where a deployment's placeable capabilities live

## bijection placement

```text theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light-default","dark":"github-dark-default"}}
bijection.bindings.ts places capabilities with bind(platform.<slot>, provider); an unbound slot is Bijection's. Bytes never move during a push: a push stops before activation until the bound storage is active, and placement move makes it active.
Usage:
  bijection placement [flags]
  bijection placement [command]
Available Commands:
  move        Move a deployment's stored bytes to the placement its bindings declare
  show        Show where the deployment's files are, against bijection.bindings.ts
Flags:
  -h, --help        help for placement
      --help-all    Show all commands and options, including administrative controls.
      --help-json   Print command input and output schemas as JSON without executing it.
Use "bijection placement [command] --help" for more information about a command.
```

## bijection placement move

```text theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light-default","dark":"github-dark-default"}}
Move a deployment's stored bytes to the placement its bindings declare
Usage:
  bijection placement move [flags]
  bijection placement move [command]
Available Commands:
  files       Prepare, validate and transfer application files to platform.files, or back to managed storage
Flags:
  -h, --help        help for move
      --help-all    Show all commands and options, including administrative controls.
      --help-json   Print command input and output schemas as JSON without executing it.
Use "bijection placement move [command] --help" for more information about a command.
```

## bijection placement move files

```text theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light-default","dark":"github-dark-default"}}
The command prints the trust to install (an AWS external ID, or a workload identity issuer and subject) before validating. A repeated run resumes the same binding and transfer. The deployment restarts during the transfer.
Usage:
  bijection placement move files [flags]
Flags:
      --credentials-file string   R2 only: JSON with access_key, secret_key and configuration_token
      --deployment string         Move files of a specific deployment. Accepts:
                                  • a deployment name (e.g. joyful-capybara-123)
                                  • a deployment reference (e.g. dev/james, staging)
                                  • dev (for your personal dev deployment)
                                  • prod (for your project’s default production deployment).
                                  You can also select deployments in other projects with project-slug:reference.
      --detach                    Return once the transfer is accepted; it continues in the management service
  -h, --help                      help for files
      --help-all                  Show all commands and options, including administrative controls.
      --help-json                 Print command input and output schemas as JSON without executing it.
      --url string                Move files of a private deployment at this explicit origin.
```

## bijection placement show

```text theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light-default","dark":"github-dark-default"}}
Show where the deployment's files are, against bijection.bindings.ts
Usage:
  bijection placement show [flags]
Flags:
      --deployment string   Show placement of a specific deployment. Accepts:
                            • a deployment name (e.g. joyful-capybara-123)
                            • a deployment reference (e.g. dev/james, staging)
                            • dev (for your personal dev deployment)
                            • prod (for your project’s default production deployment).
                            You can also select deployments in other projects with project-slug:reference.
  -h, --help                help for show
      --help-all            Show all commands and options, including administrative controls.
      --help-json           Print command input and output schemas as JSON without executing it.
      --url string          Show placement of a private deployment at this explicit origin.
