# Interface: VirtualTables

> Remote queries are available only in actions.

[server](/api/modules/server).VirtualTables

Remote queries are available only in actions. They use the same `q` builder
as views. Local or cross-source inputs and unsupported expressions fail
before data-query execution; there is no local evaluation or copy fallback.
