# Interface: FileReader

> An admitted read of one file's bytes, opened in an action: its file's metadata and one verified stream of its bytes, bounded by the read lease.

An admitted read of one file's bytes, opened in an action: its file's
metadata and one verified stream of its bytes, bounded by the read lease.
Completion, `close`, disposal (`await using`) or the lease's deadline ends
the read; the runtime ends it if the reader is forgotten.
